Verification first. Then your decision.

Projects reach your process only after verification

We present projects from our own pipeline. Each one is verified across 42 areas before it reaches your desk.

The mechanism

Every project ends with a recommendation.
GO or NO-GO.

Scope of the mandate: projects we present from our own pipeline under an agreed investment mandate.

NO-GO

A project from our pipeline fails verification or does not meet the criteria of your mandate.

Outcome

We do not recommend the project and it does not enter your investment process.

GO

A project from our pipeline passes verification and meets the criteria of your mandate.

Outcome

You receive a report covering 42 areas and a GO recommendation - material ready for an investment committee decision.

Key clarification

The recommendation is produced under the same methodology regardless of the outcome: the same 42 areas, the same control gate, the same documentation standard. A NO-GO is just as complete a result of the analysis as a GO and is documented in the same way.

Outside the scope of the mandate

  • Projects nominated by the investor from outside the GCC pipeline
  • Due diligence commissioned as a standalone engagement
  • Analysis that goes beyond the scope of the agreed mandate

We carry out this work as a separate engagement, on an agreed scope and fee basis. The detailed terms of cooperation, including remuneration, are set out in the contract.

Proof of the model

The same destination. A shorter route to the transaction.

Market practice starts the process before screening: several threads run in parallel and only along the way does it emerge which of them stand no chance. In the GCC model screening comes before the process starts - the project that enters the transaction has already been verified.

The diagram illustrates the sequence of steps, not a committed timetable for any particular transaction. It covers projects presented by GCC from its own pipeline under an agreed mandate. The acquisition process can be closed within 30 days for projects that meet the required process criteria.

Fewer processes that lead nowhere. More room for the decision that counts.

In 30 days. From a project on the market to a project in your portfolio.

More projects. Less risk. Better decisions.

The number of opportunities you can review should not depend on how many parallel processes your team can carry. As a strategic partner we filter a far wider part of the market, so that only projects verified across 42 areas enter your investment process.

More projects

Screening covers the entire pipeline, not one-off submissions. You compare more opportunities at the same time.

Fewer dead-end processes

Projects with no prospect of closing drop out at the screening stage, before they enter your investment process.

Sharper selection

Your team works on projects that have already been vetted, rather than on the raw market.

Organisation

Your team focuses on the decisions.
We handle the rest.

  2. Screening
  3. Analysis
  4. Due diligence
  5. Negotiations
  6. Closing

Scope run by GCC under the agreed mandate

GCC can act as an external investment and transaction team delivering the investor mandate as agreed. Your team engages where its expertise, capital and decision genuinely matter.

A handshake once the transaction terms have been agreed
Who we are

A strategic partner to investors in the acquisition and delivery of renewable energy projects.

Brokerage is one part of our model, but it is not what defines it. We run the mandate, the market screening, the transaction process and the subsequent stages of project delivery, instead of forwarding teasers and waiting for a reply.

  • One relationship
  • One mandate
  • One team
  • Full accountability for the process we run
Acquisition process

From investment mandate to project in the portfolio

Six steps with responsibility explicitly assigned. Four of them are run by GCC.

01
You

You set the objective

Technology, capacity, region, stage, CAPEX, target COD and investment criteria. Together with the exclusion criteria.

02
We

We screen the market

Sourcing, screening, contact with developers and assembling the full project documentation.

03
We

We verify

Due diligence across 42 areas: technical, legal, regulatory, corporate and transactional analysis, together with a risk map.

04
We

We recommend

An unambiguous GO or NO-GO recommendation, with the rationale and the impact of the identified risks on valuation.

05
We

We run the transaction

Negotiations, deal structure and terms, documentation and coordination of the parties through to signing.

06
You

You acquire the project

Closing, and the project sits in your portfolio. Together with the full record of the process and the open risks.

Six steps, one owner of the process. Four of them are run by GCC. The scope on the GCC side depends on the engagement model agreed in the mandate.

What comes next

Closing ends the acquisition phase. It does not end the relationship.

  1. Acquisition
  2. Financing
  3. Offtake
  4. Development
  5. Engineering
  6. EPC
  7. Construction

One project. One team. One line of accountability.

The team that gets to know the project during diligence and the transaction stays with it through the stages that follow. What we know about the project, its risks and its assumptions does not disappear at closing.

Local execution

One team. All of Poland.

Central decisions. Local execution.

Five operating bases mean that the conversation with the developer, the site visit and the contact with the grid operator all happen on the ground, not remotely from a single office.

Wherever the projects are, we are on the ground.

Two routes

Come in from the mandate side or from the project side

Investors receive projects already screened against the market. Developers gain access to investors who actually buy. In both cases we run the process through to the end.

For investors - pipeline projects verified across 42 areas

Define the mandate: technology, capacity, region, stage and exclusion criteria. GCC will search a pipeline of 750+ projects, verify them across 42 areas and take the selected project through to transaction. Screening comes before presentation: what reaches you has already passed verification.

Define your investment mandate

For developers - a good project deserves the right investor

Project preparation, due diligence, VDR, investor presentations, negotiations and end-to-end management of the sale process. We cover every stage, from early development to operating assets.

Proof of capability

The capabilities behind a GO recommendation

A recommendation is worth only as much as the team behind it. Every stage of the process has an assigned owner on our side and a person who carries that responsibility.

Origination and M&A

Sourcing, deal structuring, negotiations, share deals and asset deals.

Due diligence

42 areas of analysis, closing with a GO or NO-GO recommendation.

Financing

Financial model, selection of capital sources and preparation for financial close.

Offtake and PPA

Power sales strategy, PPA contracts and exposure to the balancing market.

Development

Steering the project through the administrative decisions all the way to ready-to-build.

EPC and construction

Supervision of the contractor, the schedule and handover on the investor side.

Law and regulation

Licences, grid connection conditions, compliance and conformity with energy law.

Scope of review

42 analytical due diligence areas

This is what our recommendation rests on, and we stand behind it. Every project runs through a risk matrix spanning regulatory, financial, operational, IT and compliance workstreams, and the report ends with an unambiguous GO or NO-GO.

42 analytical

SPV and compliance 6 areas
Land title 6 areas
Environmental permitting 5 areas
Zoning and administrative decisions 6 areas
Grid connection and licensing 6 areas
Building permit and technical documentation 5 areas
Battery storage (BESS) 4 areas
Revenue model and power offtake 4 areas
System

Every project in one system. Every risk under control.

Screening at this scale only works when the process is repeatable. We run every project on our own platform, from the first contact with the developer through to settlement of the transaction.

Process transparency

The investor can see exactly where the project stands. No phone calls, no chasing for status - everything in one place.

Data room with a full audit trail

Once the NDA is signed, we open a secure data room holding the complete documentation. Access is controlled and every document opening is logged, with the user and the timestamp.

Systematic due diligence

42 review areas, each with its own checklist, owner and status. Due diligence run as a system, not over email.

Control gate before release

Before delivering the materials, we check that the findings are supported by source documents and that the question list addresses the open risks. Identified inconsistencies are corrected and checked again.

Ecosystem

A network of proven partners

Project delivery is backed by a network of technology and infrastructure partners with a documented track record.
